Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines prohibited conduct on FanCraft Market. By using our Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy and our Terms of Service.

FanCraft Market is a creative marketplace built on trust, respect, and community. We expect all users—buyers, Vendors, and visitors—to use the Platform responsibly and legally.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:

2.1 Illegal Content

• Violates any local, state, national, or international law
• Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Depicts or promotes illegal drugs or substances
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or criminal activity

2.2 Intellectual Property Violations

• Infringes copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret rights
• Contains counterfeit goods or unauthorized replicas
• Uses official logos, branding, or trademarks without permission
• Violates publicity or privacy rights

Note: Fan-made content must be transformative and clearly labeled as unofficial. See our Vendor Seller Agreement for guidelines.

2.3 Harmful or Offensive Content

• Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
• Promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Depicts graphic violence or gore (except where artistically justified)
• Contains sexually explicit material or pornography
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders

2.4 Misleading or Fraudulent Content

• Contains false, deceptive, or misleading information
• Impersonates another person, business, or entity
• Misrepresents product quality, features, or origin
• Contains fake reviews or testimonials
• Promotes scams, phishing, or fraud

2.5 Spam & Unwanted Content

• Unsolicited advertising or marketing
• Repetitive or excessive messaging
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Automated scraping or data mining

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Platform Abuse

You may not:

• Attempt to bypass platform fees or payment systems
• Encourage buyers to transact off-platform
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or search rankings
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to access the Platform
• Interfere with Platform operations or security measures

3.2 Fraud & Deception

You may not:

• Engage in fraudulent transactions or money laundering
• Use stolen credit cards or payment information
• Falsely claim non-delivery or initiate fraudulent chargebacks
• Misrepresent product authenticity or condition
• Engage in shill bidding or price manipulation

3.3 Harassment & Abuse

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Send unsolicited sexual content or propositions
• Dox or share private information without consent
• Stalk or persistently contact someone who has asked you to stop
• Engage in targeted harassment campaigns

3.4 Account Misuse

You may not:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Sell or transfer your account
• Use another user's account without permission
• Create accounts using false or misleading information
• Register accounts for children under 18 (or legal age in your jurisdiction)

3.5 Technical Abuse

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or decompile Platform code
• Probe, scan, or test Platform vulnerabilities
• Bypass rate limits or access controls
• Overload or disrupt Platform infrastructure (DDoS attacks)
• Scrape or harvest user data

4. Prohibited Products & Services

The following items may not be sold on FanCraft Market:

4.1 Illegal Items

• Drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
• Stolen goods or items of questionable origin
• Counterfeit currency or official documents
• Human remains or body parts

4.2 Regulated Items

• Alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products
• Prescription drugs or medical devices
• Live animals (except commissioned pet portraits/art)
• Hazardous or toxic materials

4.3 Prohibited Content

• Adult or sexually explicit products
• Content promoting hate, violence, or illegal activity
• Unauthorized copies of copyrighted material (bootlegs, pirated media)
• Items that violate publicity rights (e.g., celebrity likeness without permission)

4.4 Misleading Services

• Services that require off-platform payment
• Multi-level marketing (MLM) or pyramid schemes
• Services that promise unrealistic results
• Services that violate professional licensing requirements

5. Content Moderation

5.1 Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Policy, please report it to: report@fancraftmarket.com

Include:

• Link to the content or user profile
• Description of the violation
• Supporting evidence (screenshots, messages)

5.2 Investigation

We review all reports and may:

• Remove violating content
• Issue warnings to users
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement

5.3 Appeals

If you believe content was removed in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@fancraftmarket.com with:

• Description of the removed content
• Explanation of why it should be reinstated
• Any supporting evidence

Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

6. DMCA & IP Takedowns

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

6.1 Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe content infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA notice to legal@fancraftmarket.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing content (URL)
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
• Your physical or electronic signature

6.2 Counter-Notices

If your content was removed due to a DMCA claim and you believe it was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice.

6.3 Repeat Infringers

Accounts with repeated IP violations will be permanently terminated.

7. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Policy may result in:

7.1 Content Removal

Violating content will be removed without notice. You will be notified of the removal and the reason.

7.2 Warnings

First-time or minor violations may result in a warning. Future violations may escalate to suspension or termination.

7.3 Account Suspension

Serious or repeated violations result in temporary suspension. Suspended users may appeal after 30 days.

7.4 Account Termination

Severe violations (fraud, illegal activity, severe harassment) result in permanent termination. Terminated users forfeit pending funds and may not re-register.

7.5 Legal Action

We reserve the right to:

• Report illegal activity to law enforcement
• Cooperate with legal investigations
• Pursue civil or criminal action for damages
• Seek injunctions to prevent further violations

8. Platform Discretion

FanCraft Market reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any account at our sole discretion, even if not explicitly prohibited by this Policy, if we determine it:

• Harms the Platform or community
• Violates the spirit of our Terms of Service
• Creates legal liability for FanCraft Market
• Undermines trust or safety

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
